Q: Could liquid vitamin b complex be the cause of my headaches?
I have been taking liquid vitamin b complex and it seems that every day I have a headache, achy back and fatigue. Could this be the cause?

A: I wouldn’t think so. Vitamin B has been shown to improve moods, help with weight loss and for me even helped with chronic nose bleeds.

If you have recently cut back on caffeine or anything else or have changed medications, that could be the cause of your headaches.

Q: Can Vitamin B complex keep you up at night?
Yesterday I started taking a vitamin b complex pill because I thought it would help my immune system and what not. I felt good but I couldn’t get to sleep last night and when I finally did it was a terrible sleep and I feel incredibly “sketchy” today. I usually have no trouble sleeping and I can’t think of any other reason… anyone have a suggestion?

A: Yes, Vitamin B’s can keep you awake at night as they are the ‘energizer’ vitamins. Same reason for your bad feelings today. Apparently you do not need more Vitamin B in your system. Try echineca if you need an immune booster for short periods of time only.

Q: How can you tell if the Vitamin B Complex you got is water soluble?
or is all Vitamin B Complex water soluble no matter what?

A: It is a fact that all B complex vitamins are water soluble which are readily secreted in urine through the kidneys.

Another water soluble vitamin is vit C.

Since they are water soluble, they rarely cause hyper-vitaminosis or vitamin toxicity unlike fat soluble ones (K,E,D,A).

Q: Is it true that Vitamin B Complex will make you taller?
I was told that Vitamin B Complex will make you taller, I just want to find out for myself.

A: The only things that stunt growth in our lifestyles can all be directed to just common sense if you have a lousy nutrition everyday, if you lack the proper/essential/beneficial foods to eat daily, it won’t necessarily stop you from growing, but it doesn’t exactly increase the chances, either. Also, lack of flexibility has shown to hinder more growth, as the muscle tissues around your growing bones may or may not be the most potentially stretched. Just in general, nothing really stunts growth, but simple things such as getting at least 6-8 hours of sleep (hormones levels are released during sleeptime, producing growth; also, to rebuild muscle and give energy), staying physically fit (cardio, aerobic/anaerobic variations), and simply staying active thoroughout the day is all a pathway to growth. If you really want to grow taller even after puberty then check this out www.howtogrowtallernaturally.com or http://www.growtallersupplements.net I heard about it on a health forum strangely enough. I tried it not expecting much since l am 27….and I have been using it for 3 Months and,l see 2 inches difference in my height already. it has worked really well for me. Some companys are now making already mixed versions, it works though there isn’t much for scientific evidence supporting the manufacturer’s claim, but it works, also my friend tried it and it really worked out well for her too.

Q: I am depressed, is vitamin b complex the answer?
I am clinicaly depressed adolecent male, and i absolutely refuse to take medication, is vitamin b complex the answer, will it give me more energy too, cause i have none of that. Thank you

A: Try St. John’s Wort instead. Also, make sure you get some exercise every day, even just biking or walking … something to get your heart rate up a bit. You’ll find your energy levels really increase very shortly after becoming more active. You should also teach yourself meditation or some sort of guided imagery (lots of CDs available on this) to lessen the effects of every day stress. Cut out caffeine and sugar too. Good luck!

I am 27 weeks pregnant and having anxiety they told me about vitamin B complex helps your nervous system. Has anyone taken these during pregnancy? can i take them even though i’m taking prenatal vitamins?
vitamin b complex of 100

A: Vitamin B is great for pregnancy. There are very, very few vitamins that you can get ‘too much’ of. (Vitamin A is one of them, but that’s only if the Vitamin A comes from a source other than beta carotene). I wouldn’t go overboard on it, though, as you mention that you are taking prenatals. Look at the micrograms/milligrams contained in your prenatals and also in your Vitamin B supplements. Total them together and call your doctor to ask if it is too high or just fine.
